The latest version of Launcher has upgraded the payment method, with the aim of making it easier for users to purchase and maintain space. The new payment method is more convenient, with a more precise billing granularity, which can better help users to use on demand.

According to the different characteristics of "on-demand space" and "independent space", we have used different billing rules for these two types of spaces.

On-demand space#

Features#

  • More accurately: based on component and usage duration billing.
  • More convenient: automatic deductions. If the account balance is sufficient, there is no need to worry about services being suspended due to forgetting to renew.
  • More efficient: unnecessary components can be uninstalled to reduce expenses.

Billing rules#

  • Price: The current price is 0.05 ABT/Component/Day. Less than a day will be calculated as a day, for example: if you use it for 12 hours, then it is 12÷24 = 0.5 days. Note: The price of components per day is not fixed and may be adjusted in the future; the price of each component is currently the same and may also be adjusted in the future.
  • Billing cycle: daily. A bill is generated every day based on the quantity and duration of components used the previous day, and the corresponding fee is automatically deducted. If the deduction fails due to insufficient balance or other reasons, the user will be reminded through email, wallet notifications, etc.

Unsubscribe#

Users can unsubscribe on the subscription management page.

Specific rules:

  • The effective time of cancellation: after the current billing cycle ends.
  • Before the current subscription period ends, users can resume their subscription at any time.
  • Once the subscription status changes to "cancel," it cannot be restored.

Outstanding payment processing.#

If the automatic deduction fails due to insufficient account balance, the subscription will enter a debt state, and the debt application will be immediately stopped, entering a grace period of 30 days. The application will be terminated if it exceeds 30 days.

Specific rules:

  • Grace period: 30 days. During this period, you can recharge your account to restore your subscription, and users can also back up data to DID Space by logging into the application management page.
    • Note: There is no grace period for users who cancel voluntarily. The subscription will be cancelled immediately after the current billing cycle ends.
  • Exceeding the grace period: If you do not renew after 30 days, the subscription will not be able to be restored.

If the data is not backed up, it will not be able to be recovered. It is recommended to use DID Space to backup the data:

Private Space.#

Characteristics#

  • Auto debit: If your account balance is sufficient, you don't have to worry about services being suspended due to forgetting to renew.
  • Prepaid: pay first, use later.

The billing method for independent space is prepayment before use. Users need to first pay for the cost of independent space, and then use the space.

Like exclusive space, independent space also supports automatic deduction. As long as the account balance is sufficient, Launcher will automatically complete the deduction without the need for manual intervention.

Unsubscribe#

Users can proactively unsubscribe on the subscription management page.

Specific rules:

  • Effective time of cancellation: After the current billing cycle ends.
  • Before the current subscription period ends, users can resubscribe at any time.
  • Once the subscription status changes to "canceled," it cannot be restored.

Handling of unpaid fees#

If the account balance is insufficient and leads to unpaid fees, the application will be suspended, entering a grace period of 30 days. If the period exceeds 30 days, the application will be terminated.

Specific rules:

  • Grace period: 30 days, during which you can recharge your account to restore your subscription.
    • Note: There is no grace period for the user to cancel voluntarily. After voluntary cancellation, it will be immediately terminated after the current billing cycle ends.
  • Exceeding the grace period: If you do not renew after 30 days, the subscription will not be able to be restored.

If the data is not backed up, it will also be unable to recover, it is recommended to use DID Space to back up the data:
