Default Configuration Overview#
1. Discussion Board Modules#
The board is divided into three distinctive modules:
- General: Accessible to all users.
- Subscription Board: Provides partial public access, with full visibility available to
Discussion SubscribersPassport. - Admin Board: Restricted to
OwnerorAdminPassport holders only.
Each module contains an inherent post which can be readily altered or removed as per individual requirements. For those seeking default configuration modifications, the necessary steps are readily accessible for reference.
2. User Post Creation Permissions#
By default, regular users are not permitted to create new posts across different formats such as Discussion, Blog, Doc, or Bookmark.
However, this restriction can be modified through Dashboard -> Settings -> Discuss Kit -> Preferences.
3. Subscription-Based Access#
The subscription functionality within the Subscription Board operates through Payment Kit and Subscription Paywall, with the default price list is as follows.
- Monthly: 10 ABT
- Yearly: 100 ABT
Administrators have the flexibility to adjust these defaults based on their specific needs.
* After the configuration is complete, the Payment Kit should be restarted to take effect.
